Name the Newsletter Contest
As you may recall, we asked our ILSN Community Members to participate in a contest and help us name our newsletter. The contest was tremendously successful, which made the choice difficult. Thus, our solution was to combine two names. Our winners are Myriam Jensen (i-learn) and Ina Von Barm (Well Dunn). We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their name submissions and to thank everyone for your incredibly creative names. We appreciate your taking time from your busy schedules to enter the contest.

What a surprise. I have forgotten all about the contest – I participated just for fun! I teach children from 5 to 10 years in Bagsværd Skole in Denmark and I enjoy teaching with learning styles. I became a Dunn and Dunn Certified Trainer in 2005. Since then I have made hot-dot cards and other materials for school and kindergarten children. My colleague, Alice Darville, and I have created many learning-style materials and we have published several books about learning styles. We hope to bring our collective experiences and our materials to present and share with participants at the conference/institute next year.

Wow! That is WONDERFUL! Thank you! I currently work as a school psychologist in Michigan and obtained my Ph.D. in December of 2010. Dr. Rita Dunn would have been proud as this was a long journey for me with two little girls. I work in several school districts and I work at a residential treatment facility where I recently have been telling them about learning styles. They don't have any money so these assessments will come very handy. This is so exciting!
