The Teaching Professor Conference has accepted Dr. Laura Shea Doolan's and Dr. Peter Lynch's proposal: "The Learning-Style Perceptual Preferences of Undergraduate and Graduate Teacher Education Students". This presentation is a result of research conducted by Drs. Shea Doolan, Lynch and Andrea Honigsfeld. The professors wish to thank Molloy's Faculty Scholarship and Academic Advancement Committee for its support in funding this investigation. Professors Shea Doolan and Lynch will share the findings May 20-22, 2011 in Atlanta, GA. These research findings also were presented at the Molloy College Faculty Scholarship Research Day in February 2010 at the Rockville Centre (NY). Both Professors Shea Doolan and Lynch were doctoral students with Dr. Rita Dunn.
Dr. Laura Shea Doolan also presented: What Professors Need to Know About Learning Styles: Generating the Best Generation of Learners, February 2010, Molloy College, NY. Dr. Shea Doolan and Dr. Andrea Honigsfeld both have received notification and have been promoted to Full Professor at Molloy College.
